Nualphan Lamsam leads Thai football and business interests

Nualphan Lamsam, widely known as Madam Pang, continues to hold significant influence in both Thai business and sports. As the President of the Football Association of Thailand (FAT) and CEO of Muang Thai Insurance, she is a prominent member of the wealthy Lamsam family, which has deep ties to Kasikornbank.

Following Thailand's loss to Vietnam in the ASEAN Cup 2026 final at My Dinh Stadium, Lamsam expressed her heartbreak on social media, thanking players and fans while urging the team to move forward. Despite the loss, her leadership in Thai football has been marked by significant personal financial support, including paying off debts for the FAT and providing substantial bonuses to national team players and coaching staff.

In her business capacity, Muang Thai Insurance reported strong Q2 2026 results, with revenue reaching approximately 5.3 billion baht, a nearly 5% increase compared to the same period last year. Her personal lifestyle, including a 2,000m² residence in Bangkok's Sukhumvit area, reflects the substantial wealth associated with her family lineage.
