Nubank launches AI tool for personalized investment analysis

Nubank has begun the gradual rollout of Nu Smart Invest, an artificial intelligence tool designed to analyze customer investment portfolios. The tool assigns a score of up to 1,000 points based on five key pillars: diversification, return, liquidity, protection, and efficiency.

By evaluating a user's existing assets against their declared risk appetite and financial goals, the AI identifies gaps and suggests specific assets to optimize allocation. The system also includes a wealth projection feature, allowing users to input monthly contributions and simulate various financial scenarios based on their current asset classes.

Nubank emphasizes that the tool is designed to be impartial and free from commercial conflicts of interest, meaning it does not prioritize products that generate commissions for the bank. Patricia Whitaker, Nubank's Investment Director, stated that the goal is to provide clarity and autonomy rather than replacing the customer's final decision-making power. The service is free to use, requiring a minimum investment of R$ 1.
