Nucor and Lockheed Martin see institutional stake changes

Hudson Edge Investment Partners reduced its holding in steelmaker Nucor Corporation by about 10.6% in the first quarter, leaving it with 42,383 shares valued at roughly $7.2 million. Other investors, including V Square Quantitative Management and New York State Teachers Retirement System, also adjusted their positions in Nucor during the period.

Appleton Partners trimmed its position in aerospace and defense contractor Lockheed Martin by 66.5% in the first quarter, selling 4,269 shares and ending the quarter with 2,147 shares worth about $1.3 million. Several other large managers, such as Charles Schwab Investment Management and Morgan Stanley, reported buying or increasing stakes in Lockheed Martin in recent quarters.
