Nuen Moto unveils Volty U1 electric motorcycle for transport sector

Vietnamese electric motorcycle brand Nuen Moto has revealed a new project, the Volty U1, following the recent suspension of its high-performance Nuen N1-S model. The company stated it is shifting its focus toward a new direction aimed at the transport and ride-hailing sectors.

The Volty U1 is described as a modular, minimalist electric motorcycle designed for utility. Key technical specifications previously listed include two removable and swappable battery packs, each with a capacity of approximately 2.2 kWh, providing a total range of about 160 km. The vehicle's software is reportedly designed to be compatible with various battery types to avoid ecosystem lock-in.

There are indications that the Volty U1 may integrate with the battery-swapping ecosystem developed by Selex. The official launch of the Volty U1 is expected on September 4.
