Nuestra Señora del Carmen Parish celebrates bicentennial in Bella Vista

The Nuestra Señora del Carmen Parish in Bella Vista celebrated its bicentennial on October 19, marking 200 years since its creation. The event included a solemn procession and a mass presided over by the Archbishop of Corrientes, Monsignor José Adolfo Larregain.

During the celebrations, Archbishop Larregain officially announced the start of the Parish Jubilee Year. Under the motto ‘Caminando juntos bajo tu manto’ (Walking together under your mantle), the Archbishop called on the faithful to strengthen community bonds and commitment throughout the jubilee period.

The commemorative program featured the enthronement of a first-degree relic of San Carlo Acutis, the blessing of new national and Vatican City flags, and a cultural tribute including folk music and traditional local cuisine.
