Argentina regional commerce initiatives boost local sales
Various regional commerce initiatives and festivals are being held across Argentina to stimulate local economies and celebrate Mother's Day.
In Rosario, the Government of Santa Fe and the Asociación Empresaria de Rosario (AER) launched the ‘Modo Barrio’ campaign. This program involves 17 Open Shopping Centers and aims to boost neighborhood sales through special promotions and interest-free financing agreements with banks. The initiative is a collaborative effort including the Federación de Centros Comerciales Abiertos de Rosario (FCCA) and CAME.
Other regional activities include a successful entrepreneurs and artisans fair in Paraná, which featured 225 stalls, and a window display contest in General San Martín offering 800,000 pesos in prizes to encourage creativity and local shopping. Additionally, a shopping festival in 9 de Julio saw participation from over 150 businesses, marking a 35% increase in participants compared to the previous year.
