Nueve de Julio implements urban sanitation and infrastructure repairs
The Municipality of Nueve de Julio is implementing several urban maintenance and sanitation programs to improve city hygiene and infrastructure.
As part of a sanitation plan, public service teams are working to eradicate micro-dumps in various neighborhoods, including Mariano Moreno, Rivadavia, and Belgrano. Local authorities have expressed concern regarding illegal waste disposal by residents and have warned that such actions violate regulations and are subject to fines. Officials are urging citizens to use official collection services to ensure community health.
Simultaneously, the Secretariat of Public Works and Services is conducting repairs on street corners (ochavas) to enhance pedestrian and driver safety. Recent concrete work was completed at the intersection of Mitre Avenue and San Juan Street. These infrastructure improvements are part of a progressive plan to maintain and upgrade public spaces throughout the city.
