Latin American banks launch new financial services and upgrades
Various financial institutions in Latin America are implementing new services and modernization efforts. In Argentina, Nuevo Banco del Chaco has enabled the ‘Adelanto Chaco 24’ service, allowing eligible clients to anticipate debit card purchases without interest or additional costs until their salaries are credited. Meanwhile, Banco Provincia continues its ‘Cuenta DNI’ promotional program, offering various discounts in sectors such as gastronomy, local markets, and pharmacies.
In Neuquén, Argentina, Banco Provincia del Neuquén (BPN) has launched a debt restructuring line under the ‘Plan Neuquén de Alivio Familiar,’ allowing residents to refinance debts up to $50 million with terms of up to 60 months. In Venezuela, Banco Nacional de Crédito (BNC) is conducting a special campaign to transition customers from Maestro to Mastercard Debit cards, featuring contactless technology and online shopping capabilities.
In Ecuador, Cooperativa de ahorro y crédito Riobamba Ltda. is investing approximately USD 450,000 to modernize its infrastructure, including the installation of new ATMs and the launch of a new debit card with enhanced security features to prevent fraud.
