The municipal government of Nuevo Laredo has completed a two-day free vaccination campaign, administering a total of 2,593 doses. The initiative, led by Mayor Carmen Lilia Canturosas Villarreal, targeted influenza, COVID-19, and pneumococcus.

During the second day of the drive-thru service, 1,318 doses were administered, following 1,275 doses on the first day. The campaign was organized by the Municipal Health Directorate and the Secretariat of Social Welfare to strengthen public protection ahead of the autumn-winter respiratory disease season.
