Nuevo Laredo announces cultural and sporting community events

Nuevo Laredo is hosting several community events focused on culture and sports. Estación Palabra Gabriel García Márquez is celebrating its 18th anniversary with a creative workshop for children titled ‘Maquinitas Creativas’. The activity, scheduled for September 5, allows children to create birthday cakes using recycled materials to promote creativity and reading.

Additionally, the Municipal Institute for Youth Development (IMJUVE) will host the ‘Carrera Joven’ on September 6 at the Benito Juárez Sports Unit. The race includes 3K, 5K, and 10K categories and is open to all ages to promote physical activity and family coexistence. Officials expect approximately 500 participants.
