Nuevo Laredo student hospitalized after assault near secondary school
A 14-year-old student from the Juan Ruiz de Alarcón General Secondary School in Nuevo Laredo was hospitalized following a physical altercation with a classmate. The incident occurred outside of school hours and approximately two blocks away from the campus on public streets, according to school authorities and parents.
The victim was treated at the IMSS Hospital General de Zona No. 11, where medical staff reported injuries including a blow to the occipital region of the head, retrograde amnesia, oral cavity lesions, and multiple contusions. The student remains under medical observation.
