Nuevo Laredo to offer free Artificial Intelligence workshop

The municipal government of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, has announced a free introductory workshop on Artificial Intelligence. The program is designed for individuals aged 12 and older and will take place over four Tuesdays in October: the 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th.

Hosted at the ‘Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz’ library, the sessions will run from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Participants will receive instruction on basic AI concepts and engage in practical exercises using popular generative platforms, including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. The curriculum aims to demonstrate how these tools can be applied to learning, work, and personal development.

Capacity is limited to 20 participants per group. While the library will provide computer equipment for those in need, attendees are also welcome to bring their own laptops, tablets, or mobile devices. The initiative is organized by the Secretariat of Economic Development and the Secretariat of Education, Culture, and Sport.
