Nuevo León Governor delivers 1,050+ school supply kits

Governor Samuel García Sepúlveda and Mariana Rodríguez Cantú delivered more than 1,050 school supply kits to various educational institutions in Nuevo León, Mexico. The kits included uniforms, backpacks, and shoes, distributed across several locations including the El Pequeño Gran Luchador preschool, Julia Garza Almaguer primary school, the Oziel Hinojosa Multiple Attention Center, and the Dr. Jaime Torres Bodet Secondary School 11.

García Sepúlveda stated that the state has invested 1 billion pesos in school rehabilitation and is committing an additional 1 billion pesos to deliver one new school per week through December. He highlighted that Nuevo León has achieved top rankings in several educational metrics, including reducing educational lag, full-time schooling, and upper secondary enrollment.

Additional initiatives mentioned by the Governor include a school transportation program aimed at having 50% of students use new buses, the development of online degree and postgraduate programs, and the promotion of sports through a new Flag Football league.
