Nuevo León reports $135 billion in investment and expands security forces

Various regional developments are occurring across Mexico. In Nuevo León, Governor Samuel García announced that the state has attracted $135 billion in new investments, leading national indicators in manufacturing and formal employment. To bolster security, a new Metropolitan Division of Fuerza Civil with 500 elements is being established.

In other sectors, the Mexican Red Cross received renewed support from the Nuevo León administration, with a budget increasing to 53 million pesos for 2026. Meanwhile, the IMSS has mandated the use of the SAT e.firma for employer electronic procedures to enhance digital security.

In Coahuila, the government has expanded its network of 'Centros Libres para las Mujeres' to 29 locations to provide legal and psychological support. In Yucatán, the State Attorney General's Office has begun remodeling its investigation and litigation unit in Progreso to modernize infrastructure.
