Nuevo León to host 32nd Mexican Foreign Trade Congress
Nuevo León has been selected to host the 32nd Mexican Foreign Trade Congress from October 27 to 29, 2026. Organized by the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment, and Technology (COMCE), the event aims to showcase the state's industrial and export capabilities while facilitating international business connections.
Betsabé Rocha, the Secretary of Economy, stated that the congress will allow local companies to find new partners and markets globally. The announcement comes amid significant economic activity; in the first quarter of 2026, Nuevo León recorded exports totaling $14.537 billion. Furthermore, Mexican exports from January to July 2026 reached 471,387 million pesos, representing a 27.68% year-on-year increase, the highest growth rate observed since 2010.
