Nuevo León transfers 20.8 billion pesos to municipalities

The Government of Nuevo León reported that between January and September, it transferred 20,897,971,128 pesos in federal and state participations and contributions to municipalities. This figure represents a 4.5 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

According to the State Secretariat of Finance and General Treasury, the distributions followed the guidelines of the Law of Fiscal Coordination and the State Law of Fiscal Coordination. Federal and state participations alone totaled 13,210,847,692 pesos during the first three quarters. Between July and September, a total of 4,167,975,451 pesos was distributed, marking a 14.6 percent growth for that specific period.
