NUIEVE project launches multisensory laboratory in Palmanova

The NUIEVE project, a new multisensory stimulation laboratory, is set to begin operations in Palmanova on October 17. Promoted by the Cooperativa Sociale Thiel in collaboration with the University of Padua, the facility will serve children, adolescents, and young adults with neurodevelopmental disorders.

The laboratory aims to provide a high-tech socio-educational environment for rehabilitation and skill enhancement. By utilizing personalized functional profiling, the project focuses on an individual's resources rather than their diagnosis, using technology to help participants transfer acquired skills into daily life activities. This initiative is designed to complement existing clinical and socio-sanitary pathways without overlapping them.
