Nules Council receives €6,400 grant to promote Mascarell Medieval Fair

The municipal council of Nules has been awarded a grant of €6,400.90 from the Provincial Tourism Board of Castelló to support the promotion and organization of the Mascarell Medieval Fair. The fair, held the first weekend of November, was declared a Festival of Tourist Interest by the Valencian regional government in 2022 and takes place in the walled village of Mascarell, which has been a Cultural Heritage Site (BIC) since 1996.

Tourism councillor Guillermo Latorre highlighted the fair’s established popularity with both locals and visitors and said the funding will help further dynamise the event, broaden its appeal and raise Mascarell’s profile across the Valencian territory.
