Numan Kurtulmuş pledges a terror‑free Turkey and region at student program

Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş attended the Milli Türk Talebe Birliği (MTTB) Political School Closing and Certificate Program in Fatih, Istanbul. The ceremony, which began with a Qur'an recitation, also featured former Speaker İsmail Kahraman and MTTB President Tahsin Başarı.

Kurtulmuş said Turkey must become a “terror‑free” nation and work with others to build a terror‑free region. He highlighted the four pillars of the MTTB – ethics, faith, science and action – as essential for the country's youth. The speaker also recalled Turkey’s history of coups and past constitutions, asserting confidence that Turkey can craft a new, democratic constitution and pursue advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence.

He reaffirmed commitment to Turkey’s independence, cultural development, industrial growth, and participation in global affairs, while rejecting reliance on foreign models.
