Nuno Borges reaches 100 ATP career victories

Portuguese tennis player Nuno Borges has become the second player from his country to achieve 100 career victories on the ATP circuit. He reached this milestone during the Paris Masters 1000, where he entered the main draw as a lucky loser following withdrawals by Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.

Borges secured his 100th victory by defeating 17-year-old French player Moise Kouame in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1. This win also marked his 30th victory of the current season, a feat he has achieved for the second consecutive year. He joins João Sousa as the only Portuguese players to reach the 100-win mark, with Sousa finishing his career with 220 wins.
