NUNS condemns intimidation of A1tv.net editor in Novi Pazar

The Independent Association of Serbian Journalists (NUNS) publicly condemned intimidation and threats directed at Enes Radetinac, editor of the portal A1tv.net, after he posted a video showing cracks on a recently repaired bridge in Novi Pazar. Municipal official Suleiman Durević, head of the city’s construction‑land sector, reposted the footage on Facebook, adding threatening remarks toward the journalist, a misogynistic comment toward a woman, and a mocking gesture. NUNS called on the prosecutor’s office to investigate the incident, identify the person who issued the threat, and hold Durević accountable, urging a public apology. The association emphasized that officials must communicate with journalists professionally and that reporting on public infrastructure is a matter of public interest that should not expose journalists to harassment.
