Nunzio reflects on WWE career and referee role during 2010 blizzard

Former professional wrestler Nunzio has shared insights regarding his career transitions and experiences with WWE. During an appearance on the Insight Podcast, he recounted a specific instance in 2010 when a blizzard in New York City led to him being called in to officiate matches at Madison Square Garden as a referee after other staff members were unable to travel.

Nunzio also detailed how he transitioned from his ECW persona, Little Guido, to his WWE character, Nunzio. He credited Paul Heyman for helping him secure a position at WWE following the closure of other wrestling promotions. He noted that the name change occurred during his hiring process, which was facilitated through John Laurinaitis.
