Nuova Acropoli announces autumn cultural and volunteer programs in Augusta

Nuova Acropoli, an international association dedicated to philosophy, culture, and volunteering, has announced its autumn program for its Augusta branch. Following a summer break, the organization will host several initiatives focused on education and environmental protection.

Key upcoming events include the ‘Vivere Augusta’ ecological volunteering project on September 13 at the public gardens, the presentation of a free active philosophy course on September 30, and a new training course for ecological volunteering on October 10. Additionally, the National Festival of Active Philosophy is scheduled for October in Piazza D’Astorga, followed by a conference on philosophy and science in November to mark World Philosophy Day.

The association highlighted its recent activities from the first half of 2026, which included cultural conferences, participation in ‘Maggio dei libri’, and environmental efforts such as maintaining green areas at the public gardens and the S. Croce lighthouse, as well as ecological cleaning in the village of Brucoli.
