Nuova Igea Virtus adds Tumminelli, Acampa and Marigosu in transfer window
Italian Serie D side Nuova Igea Virtus announced the signings of two wingers to strengthen its attack. Mattia Tumminelli, a 1997‑born right‑back from Nissa, brings over 300 professional appearances and a reputation for speed and game‑reading. Davide Acampa, born 2003, joins from the Napoli youth system after spells in Lega Pro with Renate, Altamura, Rimini and Giugliano, adding versatility on the left flank. Both players praised the club’s project and vowed to give their best for the team.
The club also secured midfielder Federico Marigosu, a 2001‑born playmaker from Cagliari’s youth ranks who previously played for Vigor Lamezia, Olbia, Grosseto, Trapani, Prato and Matera. Marigosu described himself as an “intelligent, versatile midfielder” and expressed enthusiasm for contributing to the club’s ambitions. The trio joins a refreshed squad ahead of the upcoming season.
