Nuovo Ospedale Salesi construction secured via court-ordered sale

The construction of the Nuovo Ospedale Salesi in Ancona is set to continue following a decision by the Court of Trieste. The court has issued an official notice to sell the business branch related to the hospital project as part of a composition with creditors procedure involving the current contractors, Rizzani de Eccher and Sacaim.

The base price for the transaction is set at 2 million euros, with a deadline of September 28. Crucially, an irrevocable purchase offer has already been attached to the proceedings, which ensures the auction will not be deserted and facilitates the immediate takeover by a new company.

Francesco Baldelli, the Regional Councilor for Infrastructure, stated, "Good news on the New Salesi, the construction site does not stop," noting that the court's swift management prevents the loss of the work completed over the last five years. Once the formal takeover is finalized and approved by the Marche Region, the new company will present a revised schedule to complete the maternal and child hospital in the Torrette area.
