Haluk Levent faces fraud probe and divorce amid AHBAP investigation

Haluk Levent, a prominent figure currently detained as part of an investigation into the AHBAP Association, is facing serious allegations regarding the misuse of donations. The investigation focuses on financial movements and the alleged use of earthquake relief funds for gambling and unauthorized transfers.

New details have emerged regarding Levent's private life, specifically his secret 2018 marriage to Turkish businesswoman Nurdan Eriş in Switzerland. Eriş, who is also currently detained as a suspect in the investigation, has decided to file for divorce.

In her testimony, Eriş alleged that Levent exploited her financially, claiming he frequently requested money by citing debts to moneylenders and threats from organized crime. She stated that she had transferred significant funds to him, including money from her company in the United States and proceeds from the sale of her Swiss company. Eriş expressed feeling used, stating, “I feel like a fool right now.”
