Nuremberg Airport fight bars 11 passengers from flight

On the evening of Friday, 31 July, around 22:30, a dispute over queue position at the check‑in area of Nuremberg Airport escalated into a physical altercation involving roughly 20 travellers. A 29‑year‑old man struck a 43‑year‑old man in the face, after which the two groups clashed. Officers of the Grenzpolizeiinspektion Nürnberg, supported by police from Nürnberg‑Ost and the support command of Middle Franconia, intervened, recorded identities and secured video footage. An ambulance was dispatched, but no one required hospital treatment. Police investigations are ongoing. Eleven of the participants were excluded from their originally scheduled flight and were not allowed to board.
