Nuremberg Airport Check‑in Queue Fight Bans Eleven Passengers

A dispute over queue positions at the check‑in area of Nuremberg Airport escalated into a physical altercation on the night of 2 August 2026. Two groups of travelers, totalling about 20 people, clashed after a 29‑year‑old man struck a 43‑year‑old man in the face. Police intervened, recorded video and personal details, and called an ambulance, though no one required hospital treatment.

Eleven of those involved were barred from boarding their originally scheduled flights. The incident is being investigated by the Bavarian border police, with no injuries reported so far.
