Nuremberg and Fürth to host 2026 cultural tour event

Nuremberg is a city defined by contrasting historical eras, ranging from its significance as a medieval Imperial City where emperors were crowned to its role as the site of Nazi rallies and subsequent war crimes trials. While much of the old town was destroyed during World War II, it was rebuilt in its traditional style to preserve its historical identity.

Building on this cultural depth, the 27th edition of the 'Stadt(ver)führungen' event is scheduled for September 18–20, 2026, in Nuremberg and Fürth. Under the motto 'Zeitfenster' (Time Window), the event will feature over 1,100 guided tours across 13 categories, offering public access to hidden locations, historical sites, and personal stories. Pre-sales for the event begin on July 24, 2026.
