Nuremberg Police Arrest Two Suspects in Child Sexual Abuse and Drug Case

The police in Middle Franconia have taken two men into custody following investigations into sexual offences against minors and drug trafficking around Nuremberg’s main station. A 24‑year‑old is accused of serious sexual abuse of children, while a 26‑year‑old faces charges of supplying narcotics such as crystal meth and cocaine to minors. A search of their residence yielded the drugs, around €2,000 in cash and evidence linking the 24‑year‑old to child‑abuse allegations. Both suspects are now held in pre‑trial detention.

The operation is part of the “EKO Kajal” investigative commission, which targets sexual and drug crimes in the vicinity of the Nuremberg railway hub—a known hotspot for such offences. Six suspects have been arrested in total as the commission continues its crackdown.
