Nuremberg retail expands with Faber-Castell and Peek & Cloppenburg openings

Retail developments are progressing in Nuremberg as several major tenants occupy former department store spaces. In the city center, Faber-Castell has opened a new pop-up store within the Wöhrl Outlet Welt, located in the former Kaufhof building. This addition follows the one-year anniversary of the building's interim use, which also includes various retail, gastronomic, and scientific offerings. Additionally, the Wöhrl Outlet Welt has extended its stay in the location until summer 2028.

In the southern part of Nuremberg, the Franken-Center has reached a nearly 100 percent occupancy rate following the redevelopment of the former Karstadt building. Peek & Cloppenburg has officially opened a new store covering more than 3,000 square meters on the ground floor, offering women's, men's, and children's fashion. This move is part of a larger restructuring of approximately 12,000 square meters of space, which also includes new tenants such as Smyths Toys and Decathlon.
