Nurgül Yeşilçay adopts natural look for new series Ömür Usta

Turkish actress Nurgül Yeşilçay has returned to television in the Ay Yapım production ‘Ömür Usta’. To portray the character Ömür Uçar—a single mother struggling to support her three children by working in an auto repair shop—Yeşilçay has undergone significant preparation.

For approximately one year, the actress has worked to embody the character's lifestyle, which included receiving training in automotive mechanics. To enhance the realism of the role, Yeşilçay opted for a more natural appearance, reportedly ceasing the use of hair dye and botox treatments to allow her natural hair color and facial expressions to reflect the character's daily hardships.

The series features a cast including Bülent İnal, Gonca Vuslateri, Enes Koçak, İbrahim Selim, Gülçin Kültür Şahin, and Sude Zülal Güler.
