Nurhayati Pamungkas in Critical Condition After Sydney Pedestrian Crash

Nurhayati Pamungkas, a mother of two in her 30s, was struck by a white Toyota Tarago while crossing The Boulevarde in Lakemba, southwest Sydney, on her way to pick up her children from school. The vehicle also hit a second pedestrian, a man in his 60s, before crashing into two cars on the opposite side of the road. Pamungkas was treated at the scene and rushed to Liverpool Hospital, where she remains in an induced coma. The driver, an 82‑year‑old man, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing. A GoFundMe campaign set up by local restaurateur Elia Economou has raised nearly $35,000 to support Pamungkas’s family.
