Nurideen Shabazz Charged with Felony Robbery Over Miami Yacht Altercation

Streamer DeenTheGreat, whose legal name is Nurideen Shabazz, has been charged in Miami with felony robbery and misdemeanor battery stemming from a May 27 incident aboard a yacht. Prosecutors allege Shabazz became physically aggressive after a verbal dispute with a female passenger, attempting to seize her phone while she tried to record the encounter. Security footage supplied by the yacht’s owner reportedly contradicts Shabazz’s account of the events.

If convicted, Shabazz faces up to 15 years in prison. He was initially released on a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on August 4.
