Nurol Holding expresses interest in investing in Chad

Nurettin Çarmıklı, Chairman of the Board of Nurol Holding, met with Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno on October 28, 2026, to discuss investment opportunities in Chad.

As part of a strategy to diversify economic partnerships, the Turkish conglomerate expressed interest in several strategic sectors, including infrastructure, mining, airport management, defense equipment, energy, and tourism. Nurol Holding possesses expertise in construction, public works, and aviation.

President Déby Itno encouraged the delegation to explore Chad's natural resources and economic potential. He highlighted administrative mechanisms designed to facilitate foreign investment, such as the single-window system and the Special Economic Zones Administration Agency.
