Nurse Özlem Özyün joins International Medical Photographers Club

Özlem Özyün, a nurse at Samsun City Hospital and an accomplished photographer, has joined the International Medical Photographers Club (IMPC). This membership allows her to bring her medical-themed photography to a global stage through international exhibitions, workshops, and projects.

Özyün has been active in photography since 2006 and has received numerous accolades, including the FIAP Gold Medal. In addition to her nursing career, she serves as a board member of the Atakum Photography and Cinema Amateurs Association (ATAFOD). She stated that photography is more than just recording images for her; it is about “witnessing humanity, life, and what is experienced.” Through the IMPC, which operates under the Federation Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP), she aims to represent Turkey in international medical and health-themed art projects.
