Nursing coordination bodies established in Florida and Valencia

New nursing coordination bodies have been established in Florida, Uruguay, and the Valencian Community, Spain, to improve healthcare delivery and professional training.

In Florida, Uruguay, the Departmental Nursing Table has been formed. This initiative, driven by the Ministry of Public Health, brings together representatives from public and private health services. The table aims to analyze the sector's reality, strengthen human resource training, and improve patient care, particularly at the primary care level. It will also serve to map the distribution and qualifications of nursing staff in the department.

In the Valencian Community, Spain, the Nursing Care Committee has begun operations as a technical and consultative body. The committee focuses on analyzing and proposing improvements to nursing organization within the public health system. Its work is intended to address challenges such as an aging population and the rise of chronic diseases, aiming to ensure safe and equitable care based on scientific evidence.
