Nursing order calls for urgent action to prevent professional waste

Luís Filipe Barreira, head of the nursing order, has called for urgent intervention from the minister to prevent the waste of nursing professionals. He expressed concern that many professionals who establish themselves abroad may not return, which could worsen nursing shortages in the coming years.

Barreira stated that the DE-SNS must assume its responsibilities and unblock the current processes with urgency to address this issue.
