Nurullah Genç holds ethics conference in Erzurum

Prof. Dr. Nurullah Genç delivered a conference titled ‘Our Prophet and Good Morals’ at the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Cultural Center in Erzurum. Organized by the Erzurum Mufti's Office to observe Mevlid-i Nebi Week, the event focused on the exemplary life, universal messages, and ethical legacy of the Prophet Muhammad.

The program was attended by local officials, including Governor Aydın Baruş, Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Hüseyin Koçan, and Provincial Mufti Yaşar Çapçı. In addition to the keynote address, the event included a Quran recitation by M. Cevat Karabıyık, a poem titled ‘Yağmur Şiörü’ by Yunus Cömert, and a religious salutation by Cihan Emre Akbulut.

During his presentation, Genç discussed how the virtues of the early Islamic era, such as justice, tolerance, and mercy, can serve as guides for modern individual and social life.
