Nusantara Capital Authority receives Rp6.7 trillion budget for 2027

The Nusantara Capital City Authority (OIKN) is accelerating the development of the new capital, with an indicative budget of Rp6.7 trillion allocated in the 2027 Draft State Budget (RAPBN).

OIKN Head Basuki Hadimuljono stated that Rp5.3 trillion of this total is specifically designated to continue the construction of the legislative and judicial districts. This allocation aims to meet targets for completing key infrastructure by 2027. The remaining funds are intended for the management and maintenance of existing assets, a cost that currently stands at approximately Rp500 billion per year and is expected to rise as more assets are transferred to the authority.

The judicial district construction is targeted for completion by December 25, 2027. This area will include buildings for the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court, the Judicial Commission, the Justice Plaza, and a local mosque. Currently, the Supreme Court construction project, valued at Rp1.4 trillion, has reached 12.5 percent progress.
