Nuseir Yassin defines anti-Zionism as antisemitism

Nuseir Yassin, the Israeli-Arab social media entrepreneur behind the ‘Nas Daily’ vlog, stated that he believes ‘anti-Zionism is a form of antisemitism.’ Speaking at a conference hosted by the David Merage Foundation for Confronting Antisemitism in Denver, Yassin expressed a commitment to combating hate against Jewish people.

Yassin, a Muslim of Palestinian origin with over 68 million followers, noted that while he is not a supporter of the Israeli government, he believes much of the criticism directed toward it is fueled by antisemitism. He described Zionism as a group of people seeking a place to live and argued that detractors often target the movement because they ‘just really don’t like Jews.’

Reflecting on his identity, Yassin mentioned that following the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks, he began identifying as Israeli first and Palestinian second to distance himself from extremism while maintaining his heritage.
