Nusret Altınbaş referred to court for arrest in fund investigation

Nusret Altınbaş, Deputy Chairman of Altınbaş Holding, has been referred to a criminal court with a request for his arrest following his detention in an ongoing investigation into capital market transactions. The investigation, conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, focuses on fund-related activities within the capital markets.

Altınbaş, who had been wanted by authorities, was transferred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan after undergoing medical checks. The probe has already resulted in numerous arrests, including former bureaucrat Eren Yeşilyurt, former AK Party deputy Ertan Aydın, and former Türkiye Sigorta General Manager Taha Çakmak. Other detainees include Altınbaş Holding official İnan Altınbaş and various executives from investment and portfolio management firms such as Atlas Portföy, Alnus Yatırım, and Pardus Portföy.
