Nutanix integrates HarfangLab cybersecurity capabilities

Nutanix, a hybrid multicloud leader, has announced the integration of HarfangLab’s cybersecurity capabilities into its virtualized infrastructures. This collaboration aims to provide unified visibility and enhanced threat detection for hypervisors, virtual machines, and workloads through a single platform.

The integration utilizes a lightweight single agent to minimize performance impact on Nutanix environments. HarfangLab provides several security layers, including Attack Surface Management (ASM) to identify vulnerabilities, Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) to block malicious files, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) to combat advanced threats like ransomware and DLL Sideloading using AI and behavioral analysis.

Management consoles and data can be hosted either in the HarfangLab cloud or directly within the client’s Nutanix environment. The solution also includes investigation and remediation features such as automatic blocking, quarantine, and threat isolation.
