Corporate earnings reports show mixed results for healthcare and tech firms

Several companies released their second-quarter 2026 financial results, showing varying performance across the healthcare and technology sectors.

Nutex Health reported a significant increase in net income, reaching $65.8 million for the quarter, compared to a loss of $17.7 million in the same period the previous year. While total hospital division visits rose 9.6% to 49,962, the company saw a 6.3% decrease in total revenue for the six months ended June 30.

Novavax raised its 2026 annual revenue forecast to a range of $235 million to $275 million, despite a 76% year-on-year decline in second-quarter revenue to $57 million. The company is shifting its strategy toward licensing its protein-based vaccine platform and Matrix-M adjuvant, specifically through a partnership with Sanofi.

ESCO Technologies exceeded earnings expectations with a reported $2.20 per share, surpassing the $2.12 consensus. The company reported a 14% year-over-year revenue increase to $339.03 million and raised its fiscal 2026 adjusted EPS guidance.

Entera Bio reported an earnings per share of -$0.14, missing the consensus estimate of -$0.08.
