Náutico coach Hélio dos Anjos addresses club salary arrears

Náutico coach Hélio dos Anjos has addressed the club's ongoing financial difficulties, revealing that his own salary is the most overdue payment within the organization. During a press conference, the manager emphasized his commitment to maintaining a professional environment and shielding the squad from off-field distractions.

Dos Anjos stated that while there are outstanding debts—specifically one month of formal salary and one month of image rights—the club's management, led by president Bruno Becker, is actively working to resolve the situation. He expressed full confidence in Becker's leadership and noted that the club has received support from the Pernambuco Football Federation (FPF-PE) and former president Paulo Wanderley to help mitigate the crisis.

The coach maintained that the financial situation has not negatively impacted the team's performance or focus, asserting that his primary responsibility is to keep the group controlled and focused on footballing duties.
