Náutico President Bruno Becker Holds Firm on Dodô Contract and Coaches

Náutico president Bruno Becker said the club exercised its right to purchase midfielder Dodô for R$ 800,000 in five installments and will not release the player despite the athlete’s desire to leave. Becker claimed there is no urgency to settle the dispute and affirmed the contract runs through the end of the season.

In the same briefing, Becker confirmed the continued employment of head coach Hélio and assistant Guilherme dos Anjos, rejecting any radical changes to the club’s project. He acknowledged ongoing salary arrears for staff and players, stating the club is working to regularise payments while navigating the challenges of Brazil’s Série B.

Becker emphasized that decisions will focus on squad adjustments rather than altering the coaching staff, and that the club will maintain its current strategy as it prepares for upcoming matches.
