Náutico seeks to end 60-year away win drought against Fortaleza

Náutico prepares to face Fortaleza at Arena Castelão in a Série B match, seeking to break a long-standing drought. The club has not secured a victory as a visitor against Fortaleza in Ceará since 1965. In their previous 12 encounters in the region, Fortaleza has won eight matches, while four ended in draws.

Náutico enters the fixture following a 3-1 victory over Sport, which marked the debut of coach Bruno Pivetti. The win, highlighted by a strong performance from Jean Carlos, moved Náutico to 41 points in the 14th position of the league standings. Fortaleza currently sits in second place with 52 points.
