Osijek museums organize wine and heritage walk in Baranja

Three museums in Osijek—the Museum of Fine Arts, the Archaeological Museum Osijek, and the Museum of Slavonia—are organizing the ‘Wine Walk through Museums’ on Saturday, October 17. The program aims to connect archaeological and artistic heritage with the wine traditions of Baranja and local gastronomy.

The excursion begins in Osijek and travels to Batina, where participants will visit the Batina archaeological site under professional guidance. The journey continues to the Kolar Cellars in Suza for wine tastings, lunch, and a presentation of local wine traditions.

Educational and creative activities are also included, such as a sculpture workshop organized by the Museum of Fine Arts and a historical quiz about the Habsburg family in Slavonia and Baranja hosted by the Museum of Slavonia. Participation requires prior registration with a fee of 45 euros per person or 60 euros for two people.
