NVIDIA brings path tracing to Minecraft Java via RTX Remix
NVIDIA has released version 1.6 of its RTX Remix platform, enabling path tracing and DLSS acceleration for Minecraft: Java Edition 1.21.1. This update allows players and creators to significantly enhance game lighting and environmental visuals. A beta version is currently available, featuring a demonstration world created by Blockworks and high-resolution physically rendered materials provided by NVIDIA Lightspeed Studios.
In a separate announcement, S-GAME confirmed the PC release of Phantom Blade Zero on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The title features ray tracing and path tracing supported by DLSS 4.5, including Ray Reconstruction and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. NVIDIA collaborated directly with S-GAME to implement these exclusive PC lighting effects.
Additionally, NVIDIA announced updates for developers, including expanded DLSS technology support for RTX Spark and improvements involving AI characters and Unreal Engine integration.
