NVIDIA launches RTX Spark platform for local AI computing on PCs

NVIDIA has launched its RTX Spark platform, a new generation of Windows-based personal computers designed to handle generative AI tasks locally. The architecture combines an Arm-based NVIDIA Grace CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU and a large unified memory pool of up to 128GB. This design allows users to run complex AI models, 3D rendering, and video editing directly on the device without relying on cloud connectivity, enhancing privacy and reducing latency.

Major hardware manufacturers including ASUS, MSI, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Microsoft are among the first to integrate these chips. ASUS has released the ProArt P14 and P16 models in various markets, including Indonesia and the UAE, featuring high-accuracy OLED displays and specialized AI software tools. MSI has introduced the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ in France, offering different memory configurations to suit various professional AI workloads.

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang noted that this move represents a strategic expansion into the PC market, aiming to diversify revenue beyond data centers. By bringing workstation-class computing power to portable formats, the company seeks to empower creators, developers, and small businesses with high-performance local AI capabilities.
