NVIDIA denies discontinuation of GeForce RTX 5090

NVIDIA has officially denied rumors that production of its flagship GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card has ended. Following reports of the product disappearing from the company’s official web store and various supply chain speculations, NVIDIA Senior Vice President Jeff Fisher clarified that the card is not being discontinued and that shipments will continue.

However, the company acknowledged significant supply chain constraints. The availability of the RTX 5090 is being limited by high demand for the GB202 chip in artificial intelligence applications, such as NVIDIA RTX Pro products. This competition for silicon has led to scarcity in the consumer gaming market, with some retailers reporting extremely high prices and limited stock levels.
